Internship: Communications Administrator

Oversee Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter accounts. You will work closely with Vertexer staff to monitor social media for information and comments about Vertexer or the broader tech-enabled hiring industry. You will be responsible for Vertexer’s social media footprint and expected to write regular posts on significant company events and announcements, responding to emails from Connectors and Applicants about the platform and answering Connectors’ questions about the progress of their candidates. You will also be asked to provide customer support, record reports of bugs and summarize feedback.


You must be must be a thoughtful consumer of social media with an interest in business and good writer, adept at navigating the line between posts that are dull and those that are engaging but inappropriate. We expect you to be mature, creative, hard working and exhibit good judgement and insight. Must have a social media presence and track record.

Preferred Requirements:

Candidates should have experience with at least one social media dashboard such as hootsuite or tweetdeck. One year writing a blog or as an active poster on Twitter or other platforms. Background in media or journalism.
